Pricing Pricing All prices are in Pounds Sterling. All prices include VAT. Prices may include delivery (as stated with each survey's information). Once an order has been placed an initial payment of 40% of the total sum is required, with the remaining 60% required upon delivery. Commissions Reality-Survey can work to commissions. Any terrain or surface can be surveyed, in any location, along with many objects. Each commission is discussed on a unique basis. A contract is required and payment is split 40/60 between the start of the actual survey and delivery. Please contact ash@reality-survey.co.uk for an informal chat about any ideas you may have. Limited Editions Reality-Survey is a project that purposefully yields a very low volume of work. All Reality-Survey's of 1:1 Scale are printed as a limited edition of one. Every piece is therefore a unique work, which is paramount to the conceptual issues behind Reality-Survey. Each Survey is titled, copyrighted, marked for its authenticity and signed. In a situation where a survey is required for a non-commercial exhibition purpose, but has already been sold, Reality-Survey will ask the permission of the owner if a re-print can be allowed. If permission is not granted Reality-Survey will honour this and will not re-print the survey. If permission is allowed then the print will strictly used for the purposes only that it has been granted for. All limited edition prints are subject to trading standard laws, which Reality-Survey strictly adheres to. In other words, when a print's edition has been fully run, Reality-Survey will not produce any further prints of that survey. Reality-Survey does not sell from any other source, re-sellers, dealerships or agents other than reality-survey.co.uk, reality-survey.com or directly through Ashley Michael Briggs. Viewing a Survey Prior to Purchase Reality-Survey does not keep a stock of printed surveys. This is due to huge printing costs, storage and logistical issues and that as a customer you deserve a print that is fresh off the rolls. So how do you get to see what you are about to purchase? Prior to purchase there will be plenty of opportunity to view both a 1:10 scale version and a large 1:1 scale section of the particular survey. These are printed and mounted as the final survey and can be sent if required. Quality of Finish The whole production process is overseen by Ashley Michael Briggs. This ensures no Reality-Survey's are anything but exceptional in quality and finish. Lambda printing is the highest quality of digital photographic printing and is used extensively within fine art and professional graphic displays. Reality-Survey uses the best professional archive papers to ensure the prints are lightfast to the highest specifications. There is no better system for longevity. The print is professionally hand butt-mounted onto prepared sheets of 2-4mm aluminium. Custom wall brackets are designed to each particular piece and customer's requirement so that installation is effortless and without risk. Reality-Survey's can be additionally protected by the application of UV Laminate. This will protect the survey from prolonged intense light such as direct sunlight, as well as moisture, day-to-day dirt and dust. The UV laminate is supplied as an extra, the price of which is determined on an individual basis. On larger survey's a UV Laminate may be essential and has been included in the process and the price. The original digital file, used to create the surveys, is kept for guarantee purposes for at least 1 year from purchase. If any fault occurs during this period, due to the fault of materials or workmanship, then a new survey will be printed. The original survey must be returned. Turnaround Reality-Survey print to order. We never sell a pre-printed or exhibited survey. Turnaround times differ with the size of the survey. Expect delivery to be between 1 to 6 weeks. Delivery Due to the often large sizes, delivery is a thorn in our sides, but we do not compromise the dimensions of the surveys in order to satisfy carriage specifications. Small to medium surveys can be delivered throughout the UK and this is included within the price. They are packaged in tough, bespoke casing and are insured throughout carriage. Larger surveys need expert carriage. Different methods are used; from hiring a long-wheel base van with personal delivery to using expert carriage such as specialist art and furniture couriers. These methods can be expensive and may add time to the delivery. Prices for the delivering of larger surveys are discussed on an individual basis. International delivery is also possible. If you are not happy with any aspect of your survey then please be in contact immediately, where any problems can be discussed. In the unforeseeable situation that you are not satisfied with your survey and wish to return it then Reality-Survey can offer a refund within 14 days after delivery. The refund will consist of the final 60% of payment minus the costs incurred in delivering the survey back to Reality-Survey. Copy Write Although the survey's title of ownership will be transferred to you upon receipt, copyright remains the property of Ashley Michael Briggs and Reality-Survey.
